Initial New Patient Appointments
This Initial Acupuncture appointment will include a detailed intake of your health history and current health issues that you would like to address. Allow 1.5 to 2 hours for the initial in office appointment. During this first visit, we will go over your detailed health history intake and proceed with the Eastern medicine diagnostic process. After the acupuncture treatment, we will discuss herbs, nutrition, lifestyle adjustments, and give you a treatment plan to help you on the road towards better health.
Follow Up Appointments
Once we have determined your treatment plan, a specific number of follow up appointments will be suggested for you. These appointments are one hour and include an acupuncture treatment and a herbal consultation.
Gua sha and Cupping:
Gua sha (aka, scraping), and cupping are common modalities to help treat pain. These are both ways of encouraging circulation to an affected area and to stimulate movement. If gua sha and cupping are used during your acupuncture treatment, they are included at no additional charge.
Facial Rejuvenation: Packages available
Facial Rejuvenation Acupuncture is a non-surgical method of reducing the signs of the aging process and is suitable for those with deep wrinkles, fine lines, bags under the eyes, sagging, puffiness, drooping eyelids, double chin, large pores, dry skin or acne. Different methods are emphasized and specific points stimulated according to how an individual is aging. A study in 1996 in the International Journal of Clinical Acupuncture reported that 90% of the 300 cases treated with Cosmetic Acupuncture had marked effects including the leveling of wrinkles, improved facial muscle elasticity and overall rejuvenation.
